Applicants

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

Excellent high school grades.

Priority will be given to winners of major domestic and international competitions.

Not receiving any other scholarships at the same time.

Educational requirements

Applicants who come to China to study undergraduate programs must have a degree equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma and be under 25 years old.

Language requirements

Possess a Chinese proficiency certificate of HSK-5 or above, with an overall score of 180 or above.

1. The scholarship is valid for the first academic year after enrollment, with a total amount of RMB 30,000. Payment will be made monthly, with RMB 2,500 per month for a total of 12 months.
2. This scholarship does not waive tuition fees.

Step 1: Apply online

Apply online at the International Education Center and pay the application fee

Log in to the online application system of the International Education Center of East China Normal University  Contact E-Square to get website , submit your application and pay the application fee.

Special Notes

• Faxed application materials will not be accepted.
• Applications with incomplete documents or unpaid application fees will not be accepted.
• The application fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the applicant is admitted or not.
• There is no need to mail paper application materials. Our university and departmental admissions departments reserve the right to request applicants to provide original paper copies of their application materials or certification documents from a designated certification agency for further verification.

You can check the application progress and status through your registered email address or the East China Normal University International Student Online Application System.

*Please make sure your email address is correct and check your email regularly to avoid missing important notifications (such as interview notifications, etc.)

Step 3: Admission and Enrollment

Admission results can be checked on the East China Normal University International Student Online Application System. Admitted students must register at the university strictly according to the time specified in the admission notice. Original graduation certificates and degree certificates will be verified upon registration. Those who do not obtain the corresponding certificates will be disqualified from admission.
