Bachelor of Sports Management | UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 3.5-year, full-time, on-campus bachelor's programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur — designed to develop knowledgeable, skilled graduates ready for leadership and specialist roles across the sports management industry.
The curriculum integrates sport science foundations with management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, facilities, events, law, research and technology — spanning sport sociology, sport economy, human resource management, sport business, risk management, sport tourism, high-performance management, e-sport and more. Students build critical thinking, problem-solving and professional ethics through coursework, co-curriculum activities and a final-year industrial training placement.
Graduates are equipped for careers as Sports Marketing Manager, Event Coordinator, Sports Agent, Athletic Director, Sports Facility Manager, Sports Analyst, Sports Coach, Sports Data Analyst, Tournament Director and many other roles across professional sport, recreation, fitness, media, sponsorship and sports business — or to pursue further study at University Malaya.
