Bachelor of Electrical Engineering | UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 4-year, full-time, on-campus bachelor's programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur — designed to develop professional electrical engineers with strong foundations in engineering mathematics, circuit analysis, electronics, digital systems, electromagnetics, control systems, power systems and communications.

The curriculum spans engineering mathematics, digital systems, programming, circuit analysis, electronic physics and circuits, signals and systems, microprocessors and microcontrollers, communication systems, machines and drives, applied electromagnetics, control systems, digital signal processing, power electronics, energy conversion and high voltage transmission, instrumentation, digital communications, integrated design project, industrial training, final year project and electives — supported by law, ethics and sustainability for engineers.

Graduates are equipped for careers as Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Power System Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, VLSI Design Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Software Engineer and Research and Development Engineer — or to pursue professional engineer registration and postgraduate study at University Malaya.
