Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning | UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 4-year, full-time, on-campus bachelor's programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur — designed to develop urban and regional planning graduates with strong foundations in planning studios, land use planning, transportation planning, urban design, GIS and sustainable community development.

The curriculum spans planning studios, computer aided graphic design, history of urban planning, land use and transportation planning, planning laws and techniques, urban economics, GIS and urban analytics, regional and rural planning, housing and sustainability, planning theory, academic project, urban management and industrial training.

Graduates are equipped for careers as Urban Planner, Town Planner, Regional Planner, Land Use Planner, Transportation Planner, City Planner, Planning Consultant, GIS Specialist, Sustainable Development Consultant and Development Control Officer — or to pursue postgraduate study at University Malaya.

STPM
Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00. Obtained a minimum Grade B- in TWO (2) subjects. Obtain a minimum of grade B- in TWO (2) subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, History, Geography, Visual Arts.
Matriculation / Foundation
Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00. Obtain a minimum of grade B- in TWO (2) subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Basic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
GCE A-Level
Obtain a recognized GCE A-Level qualification. Obtain a minimum grade of B- in TWO (2) subjects.
