Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours | UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 4-year, full-time, on-campus honours programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur — designed to prepare graduates for registration and practice as competent pharmacists across community, hospital, clinical and industrial pharmacy settings.
The curriculum spans anatomy and physiology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacotherapy across major disease areas, dosage form design, pharmacokinetics, pharmacoepidemiology, community and hospital pharmacy practice, clinical clerkships, drug discovery, pharmaceutical biotechnology and research projects — supported by extensive laboratory work, ethics and legislation in pharmacy, and industrial pharmacy training.
Graduates are equipped for careers as Community Pharmacist, Hospital Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist, Industrial Pharmacist, Regulatory Affairs Officer, Formulation Scientist, Pharmacovigilance Officer, Clinical Trials Coordinator and Academic Lecturer — or to pursue postgraduate study and specialist pharmacy practice at University Malaya.
