Bachelor of Science with Education [Biology/Mathematics/Chemistry/Physics] | UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 4-year, full-time, on-campus bachelor's programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur — designed to prepare graduates to teach Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics in secondary schools and other educational settings, combining rigorous science content with professional education training.
The curriculum spans cell biology, life processes, population and organism biology, plant sciences, human anatomy, cytogenetics, recombinant DNA technology, bioinformatics, educational psychology, and specialised modules in teaching and assessment for biology, field work, practical work and physics components — supported by STEM integration, social engagement, faculty electives and a scientific project.
Graduates are equipped for careers as Science Teacher, Lecturer, Curriculum Developer, Educational Consultant, STEM Program Coordinator, Educational Technology Specialist, Science Communicator and Education Administrator — or to pursue postgraduate study at University Malaya.
